CHRIST CHURCH EMBROIDERY
The
Embroidery took 3 years to make and was ready in time for the Millennium,
the three panel embroidery is displayed at Christ Church in Prince
Edward's Road, Lewes.
Fabric and stitches covering nearly 100,000 sq cm
depict a semi bird's eye view of Lewes and the surrounding countryside
including many prominent buildings.
The
theme is God's creation of the natural world and care for His people
through church, social and health services.
The
