Churches Together in the Lewes Area

THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST MICHAEL-IN-LEWES St Michaels.jpg (48053 bytes)

St Michael's stands firmly in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England and draws its congregation from a wide area.

The main act of worship is the Sung Mass on Sunday at 10.30 am. There is also a said Mass every day, with Evensong and Benediction on Saturday evenings.

The Sacrament of Absolution is readily available.

St Michael’s is an ancient church but offers a vital modern ministry to the town and its visitors. It is open every day and much used for private prayer and quiet meditation.

For full details, please contact the parish priest, Father Christopher Channer, St Michael’s Rectory, St Andrew's Lane, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 1UW. Tel 01273 474723.
